Getting from here to there - my winding road from fatness to fitness.
You are too funny! We are both getting back in that saddle. Yes, I need to get the fact that even though I'm being careful with sugars, it's still not all I can eat and Calories in fats can rack up quickly. I, especially, need to understand that the only way to have success is to stick to the healthy basics and not necessarily trying to get an excess of fats in, they will come without much thought. I also need to just remember that when given a choice of which fat to use, to choose avocado, or coconut over canola, which has been drilled into my head and what I reach for. Finally, maybe I should NIST the nuts and whole avocados all together, I have no control! Great, now that I just got two COSTCO containers and bags of each.
Anonymous...Yannow, I've come to think that if you can't cut out the sugar, you have to watch both sugar and fat; but if you CAN cut out the sugar, you don't need to watch the fat so long as you're eating the good fats - avocados, olive oil, etc.The biggest thing is that we're on a good track - it's not fast, but it's forward.
NIST? That darn auto correct, I meant nix-
Thanks for the inspiration! Having taken a recent break from common sense when it comes to eating, time for me to get back in the saddle too!
Thank YOU Crabby! Seeing how you make activity and exercise part of your lifestyle is an inspiration to me!
